Blame it on the rain.

I never owned a real rain jacket until I moved to New England. In Florida, rain comes with 85 degrees attached and an extra layer is never the answer.

Moving north fixed that fast. I now have opinions on rain jackets. Several of them.

The Lululemon Always Effortless (I have it in black) jacket went across twelve days in Ireland, Scotland, and London with me last summer and earned its place permanently. The Rain Rebel is my sideline jacket for damp soccer games or running errands after a work out.

H&M, Mango and Zara are making genuinely good trenches right now. Better quality than you'd expect, way less than you'd pay elsewhere.
